A Bit About Me

Hi there! My name is Scarlett, and, like most people, high school was probably one of the hardest times of my life. I decided to change that. Since then, I have dedicated countless hours researching some of the best methods to manage life during school for a variety of types of students.

I am a university student studying psychology and using that knowledge, personal experience from my own time in school, and evidence-based research, I have tasked myself with spreading that information to anyone who realises it will help them.

​

All we have to remember to get by, is that everyone has someone caring about them. Even if you’re not sure, or scared to ask, actions can sometimes speak louder. The people who say hello, or call you, spend time with you; they’re the ones who care. You can feel like the loneliest person in the world, but one conversation with that person who makes the sunshine brighter lifts so much weight off weary shoulders.

I have numerous qualifications in mental health, education, and years of practical experience tutoring and working with neurodivergent students of all ages.

For someone my age, I've gained a lot of experience in different fields throughout high school and university. I've had work experience with pharmacies, occupational therapists, hospitals, delis, fast food, and even the federal police forensics division! I've also participated in a lot of volunteer work, teaching music to youth bands and taekwondo to lower belts, even working in youth reference groups for institutions like Headspace.

I graduated Proserpine State High School in 2023, with an ATAR of 82.2 - placing me in the top 17% of my age group in the country. By the time I had left, I manage to secure my Certificate I Business, Certificate in Social Psychology, Certificate of Start Sailing 1, Certificates in Hospitality and Hygiene, my Blue Card, Blue-belt in taekwondo, and many more probably not worth mentioning.

High school is a wonderful time for growth, for learning, and for individualism. Tutoring can allow your child to experience all aspects of this world, with less academic pressure, less stress. I've been tutoring since primary school, but professionally, for the past 7 years. The subjects I specialise in include:
