What's Up with Us?
This past week, we at S&R have been working with our students to prepare beginning their education in 2026!
Lately, we’ve been discussing topics such as organisation, balancing school with work and extracurriculars, and managing modern issues such as the influence of AI in the classroom.
Our social media pages have been posting study tips regularly, while our coaches are being instructed on the impacts of AI on our students’ mental health, work ethic and the anxiety teachers are beginning to feel even so early on in the year.
At S&R, we focus on mental health through holistic tutoring. But we never stop at just students; we consider how parents and teachers are coping in these difficult times right before term, as well as how the influences of the environment play such a huge role in our students’ motivation and behaviour.
Our top tips for this week include:
· Organising your study space at least a week before school term begins
· Get into healthy habits now (sleep schedules, exercise, and utilising the MIND diet
· And (especially for teachers and parents) remembering what you can control and what you can't
While our yearly subscriptions are 25% off (use code NYE2026), start booking mental health discussion calls to get on track for 2026 now!
Finally, our top topics this week include the university course cuts, how to defend yourself against AI allegations, and dealing with start-of-year anxiety. Please enjoy Ryan’s marvellous piece on finding meaning below words in texts! It’s a truly compelling story and covers the main concerns experienced by students in high school and university alike.
Happy reading and have a great week 😊
